The inhabitants of this mountain paradise range from the professional skier and snowboarder to the old-fashioned ski bum, from the throngs of tourists to the townies who serve them. With skiing, snowboarding, and avalanche rescue in the winter, and hang gliding, mountain biking, and BASE jumping in the summer. Higher Elevations explores the hardcore yet quirky attitude of a resort town, where getting “fresh trax” is the only thing that counts.
